Stormwater Project Resumes on South Beacon

Beginning on Monday, Jan. 27, the contractor S & A Equipment & Builders, LLC will resume the third of the eight stormwater projects funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) in the area of S. Beacon Ave. from W. 13th Street to W. 14th Street.

The project was delayed from its original start date of summer 2024 due to the relocation of existing utilities in the area.

The project is expected to be completed in 60 days. Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.

The City apologized for any inconvenience this may cause as the they continue to make improvements to the stormwater drainage infrastructure in Sedalia.
