Smithton Residents Arrested on Drug Charges
Sedalia Police arrested two Smithton residents on multiple charges following a traffic stop near S. Ohio Avenue and W. 20th St.
According to a police report, a black Chevrolet truck was stopped for not having working license plate lights around 8:20 p.m. on March 7. Both the driver of the truck and a passenger were arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The passenger also had an active/confirmed no bond probation violation warrant from Camden County on an assault charge.
23-year-old Ryan M. Nelson, and 22-year-old Jonathan L.P. Perry were both taken to the Pettis County Jail.
