The Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers welcomed their new head coach Meredith Brick following the resignation of former head coach Adam Murray.

Four year goalkeeper at Central Methodist University, Brick earned many awards such as NAIA School Athlete in 2013 and CoSIDA/Capital One Academic District 5 first team pick in 2012.

"Coach Brick is a perfect example of being in the right place at the right time. Earlier this spring, Coach Brick had accepted a teaching position in the district and had agreed to be an assistant with the boys soccer team." says Smith-Cotton Athletic Director Rob Davis. "For such a young coach, she brings in significant playing and coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels."

Alongside the head coach position, Brick will also serve as an assistant coach for the S-C Tigers boys soccer.

"I am excited for this opportunity to help lead an empower Smith-Cotton young women through their high school careers and beyond," said Brick. "I feel lucky to have a hand in both soccer programs to share my expertise and passion for soccer."
