It doesn't seem possible but in less than four weeks the Black and Gold kick off another season of football at the Jennie Jaynes Complex at Smith-Cotton High School.

The season begins under the lights on Friday, August 30. The Tigers kick off the schedule as they travel to Moberly to take on the Spartans.

Tigers' Head Coach Charlie McFail will host four games this year and will be on the road for five. After finishing with a 5-6 record in 2018 and a second round district loss to Timberland 30-9, McFail starts his third year as head coach, and is looking to improve in the district standings and looks forward to district play in November.

Beau Matthews will again provide the radio play-by-play this year. The 2019 season will be Matthews fourth year of calling Tigers football on the radio. All the 2019 football games will be carried on Awesome 92.3, a member of Townsquare Media.
