The dental hygiene students at State Fair Community College will host a Halloween candy buyback November 1 - 3.

The Dental Hygiene program, in conjunction with Dr. Ronald Hinton DDS, and Kavanaugh Orthodontics will sponsor the 2nd annual candy buyback at the Dental Hygiene clinic in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Building.

The candy buyback will take place from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Sedalia campus.

SFCC says that children 12 years and younger can bring their unopened Halloween candy to the clinic a receive $1.00 per pound of candy, up to 5 lbs. Children will also receive a goody bag.

According to the press release from SFCC, children must be accompanied by an adult. The candy will then be donated to U.S. military members deployed overseas, through Operation Gratitude.
