Turner Hall will host a Christmas Jam. 

To celebrate the holidays, we are having a Christmas Blues Jam on December 12 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.  Dust off your dancing shoes, bring an instrument or your voice and come to Turner Hall.  The first set will be The Band of Responsible Adults, then they start adding musicians, and everybody gets to play.  No cover charge.  Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

The Broadway Presbyterian Church will have a Pancake Breakfast.

This will be held at the church from 7:00 a.m. to noon on December 13. The breakfast is organized by the Broadway’s Deacons ministry and helps support the many outreach activities offered. The cost for adults is $5, kids under 3 are $3, and 2 years of age and younger eat for free. Delivery is available. Call Bobbie at 221-8103 for details.

The Sedalia Masonic Lodge #236 is celebrating their anniversary.

They will host an open house on Saturday, December 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.  Tours of the Masonic Temple will be given and history from our 150 years in Sedalia will be on display.  Chili and refreshments will be served at no cost.

West End Theater in Blackwater is hosting Bob Milne Ragtime Concerts.

The show will take place on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday December 14th at 2:30 p.m. at the West End Theater, 301 Dodderidge Avenue. He is the nation’s best known Ragtime piano player and composer. There will also be a smoked pork chop meal with all the trimmings on Saturday at the Depot from noon to 1:00 p.m. The meal costs $14, and the concert costs $14. Santa Claus will visit Green Ridge.

It'll be held on Saturday, December 13. He’ll be at the Community Building in Green Ridge from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. He’ll arrive at 1:00 p.m., riding on a fire truck. This is sponsored by the Green Ridge Chamber of Commerce, and refreshments will be served.

The Sedalia Chorale presents its Winter Concert.

In Spirit and in Truth: a Celebration of the Season will be on December 14 beginning at 3:00 p.m. It’ll be held at the First Christian Church, 200 South Limit. Tickets are $9 in advance, or $10 at the door. Students get in free with ID. The concert tickets may be purchased from any Chorale Member or by calling Britt Faaborg at 660-829-2945.

Come and join the Inaugural New Haven sale.

The New Haven for Girls Scentsy and Bake Sale will be on December 14 at the American Legion, 2016 West Main in Sedalia from Noon until 4:00 p.m.  They'll have a silent auction, bake sale, and Scentsy sales.  For information, contact Rebecca at 287-1498.
