There are so many things for art lovers to see in Sedalia this summer. The Liberty Center Association of the Arts will be having a great set of work on display for all to see. The exhibit is called "Paperworks" .  The display in July will hang through September  and will feature the works of Damon Freed, Matthew Clouse, and Dustin Schmidt. The show is titled "Paperworks" because they are all showing works on paper.  All three artists have very contrasting styles, so it'll be a good show to see.  I got to talk with one of the artists, Dustin Schmidt, about the exhibit, and about what's coming up with the Sedalia Day at the Daum for Father's Day.

The opening reception for "Paperworks" will be July 11th, 6:00 -8:00 p.m. and should be a good time. With free food and wine, who couldn't have a good time? This year's Sedalia Day at the Daum is on Father's Day, Sunday, June 15 from 1:00 -3:00 p.m. They've got brand new activities such as a scavenger hunt, accordion music from Becky Imhauser, and a blacksmith demonstration with Don Nichols. There will also be airbrushed tattoos by the Smith-Cotton art club and art making stations with projects for the entire family. Both events are going to be amazing, and you don't want to miss out! You can check out the Daum website or the Liberty Center Facebook page for more information and updates.

Artistically yours,
Behka
