A Missouri State Highway Patrol vehicle was involved in a two-vehicle crash on South Limit at Gate 11 of the Missouri State Fairgrounds just before noon Thursday.

A MSHP report says that a 2020 Ford F-150, driven by 57-year-old Jeffery R. Kinder of Willow Springs, was making a left turn onto US 65 which caused a southbound 2011 Toyota, driven by 77-year-old Carol Burton of Sedalia, to strike the Ford at 11:38 a.m.

Burton suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

The Ford had moderate damage, while the Toyota was totaled. The Ford was towed by InMotion, while the Toyota was towed by Don's Truck Towing.

A total of six Troopers were on scene, in addition to Sedalia Police, Sedalia Fire and PCAD.
