Monday evening, Officers located an envelope outside the Police Department with an ID located within it. A found property report was taken and the ID was placed into evidence.


 

Sedalia Police responded with the Sedalia Fire Department to a fire alarm at the Motel 6, 3402 West Broadway Boulevard Monday night. After being informed that Sedalia Fire found no fire, Police Officers were informed by hotel staff that they had video of a subject pulling the fire alarm. Officers were able to identify the subject pulling the alarm. Adam M. Moore, 38, of Cole Camp, was placed under arrest for Tampering in the 2nd Degree. Moore was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24 hour hold.


 

Officers took a fraud report over the phone Monday evening. Debbie L. Freels stated a subject was able to gain access to her personal computer during an update in the 1200 block of West Broadway. They then attempted to get Freels to provide a $5200 gift card from Sephora. Freels determined this was a scam, and when confronted, the subject hung up the phone.


 

Monday afternoon, Officers responded to the 300 block of South Hancock Avenue in reference to a possible disturbance. It was discovered that two subjects living at the residence got into an altercation. Both refused medical treatment. Officers were unable to determine a primary physical aggressor. The incident was documented as a 12-hour domestic violence log. No charges are being pursued at this time.
