Sedalia Police Investigating Reports of Vehicles Damaged by Rocks

Sedalia Police have received multiple reports of vehicles being damaged by rocks.

Police were dispatched to the 900 block of S. Missouri Avenue just after 9 a.m. on August 28 for a complaint of a vehicle being struck with rocks.

The same day, police also took a report from a resident in the 1100 block of S. Missouri Avenue who said that the driver side mirror of her vehicle had been broken and there was damage to the driver's side door. An officer went to the location where the vehicle had been parked overnight and found a large rock that police say was likely used to cause the damage.

A similar complaint was reported to police in the 600 block of W. 5th Street, where two vehicles were hit with rocks.
