Sedalia Man Arrested After Police Discover Drugs, Weapon During Traffic Stop
A traffic stop on July 17 led to the arrest of a 22-year-old Sedalia man after police reported finding an illegal weapon, drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance in the vehicle.
According to Sedalia Police, a red Saturn SL was stopped near S. Missouri Ave. and W. 18th St. for failing to signal a turn. The driver, 22-year-old Daryan Michael Harrison, was found to be driving without a valid license and was placed under arrest. Police then received consent to search the vehicle.
Harrison was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of an illegal weapon, and driving without a valid license.
