Police arrested a Sedalia man on multiple charges after a K9 reportedly alerted to the presence of a narcotic odor during a June 23 traffic stop.

Sedalia Police say a GMC truck was pulled over for having no license plates and defective brake lights in the area of S. Ohio Ave. and W. 7th St. around 7:18 p.m.

It was determined that the driver did not have a valid license, and he was placed under arrest. The K9 unit was then deployed. Methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were reportedly located following a search of the truck. 36-year-old Christopher Lee Hill was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
