Well, Father's Day has come and gone, and I hope everyone's was as good as mine.  We shot in another 3D shoot this week.  It was the ASA Qualifier to qualify for the Missouri State Championships.  Brandon Scott of Sedalia took first place, and I was fortunate enough to take second in the Hunter Class, qualifying for the state shoot.

Several others from the Sedalia area qualified as well, including Hank and Connie Schrader, Willie JR Schraeder, Eric and Brad from Rusty Toad and several others will represent the area at the state championship shoot.

There are some great events coming up at the end of June.  On Saturday, June 30, you can sign up to fish with a veteran, organized by the American Legion post here in Sedalia.  We will be fishing at Liberty Park from 12 - 3:00 p.m.  That evening is KIX Night at the Races at Lucas Oil Speedway.  I'll be out there with the brand new "Huntin' and Fishin' with Harry" truck, designed by AA Designs and wrapped by Gator Graffix in Warrensburg.  We'll be having a great time as always, so get your tickets and head down there on June 30.

As for my Question of the Week last week: congratulations to our winner Ali Ditzfeld.  I asked what the Missouri state fish was and the state record for the size of that fish.  The answer is the Channel Cat, and the state record is 34 lbs., 10 oz.
