Sacred Heart Wins Third In State Soccer

The Sacred Heart Gremlins beat Crossroads College Prep on Saturday (Nov. 15) 5-1 to win 3rd place in Class 1 Soccer.

Brandon Cooper got things started with a goal from Chance Spangler ten yards out on the left side 37:49 into the game. Spangler scored less than a minute later, unassisted at the 38:41 mark.

The second half Chance Spangler picked up right where he left off scoring at the 49:09 mark of the second half from a pass from Brandon Cooper.

Milton Green got one past Sacred Heart at the 68:48 mark, closing it to 3-1. Brandon Cooper went on to score two more times and Sacred Heart took 3rd place.

Barstow beat Canton 2-1 to win the Class 1 Championship.
