This is the first entry in what I hope to make a weekly segment: Off the Trail Tracks. Every week we'll select a new album and showcase a song from it that you're unlikely to hear on the radio any time soon, and give you the chance to listen to it here on our website. Today we're featuring "Wish I Had a Boat" from Tyler Farr's new album "Redneck Crazy."

Farr's debut album has been blowing up, landing at number two on the country charts. You've probably heard the singles "Hello Goodbye," the monster hit "Redneck Crazy," and the latest radio release "Whiskey in My Water." But I don't think "Wish I Had a Boat" will be hitting the airwaves any time soon.

It's not that it's a bad song, I think it's a great song. It's a song everyone can relate to about a beautiful summer day when you long to be out on a boat enjoying it. It's fun, it's upbeat, and I think it's a great summer anthem.

Which is why you won't hear it for a while: November isn't exactly boating weather. Still, it's a really good song. Listen below and let us know what you think in the comments!
