Roadrunners Gear Up for Region XVI Tournament

The extended season for the State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners and Roadunners teams kicks off on the road.

The postseason kicks into high gear for SFCC this week. The #5 Lady Roadrunners (13-16) will be on the road Tuesday, February 27, against the #4 Mineral Area College Lady Cardinals (15-11) for a quarterfinal game in Park Hills, MO. The winner of this game will play in a semifinal game against the #1 seed, Moberly Area Community College Thursday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m at Jason Gym - Lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO.

For the men, it will be a road game Thursday, March 1. The #2 seed Roadrunners (19-9) will play #3 seed Mineral Area College. (22-8) Game time is 8:00 p.m. The location of the game is Jason Gym - Lincoln University, Jefferson City, MO. The winner of the men's game will play in the Region XVI championship game against the winner of the #1 seed, Moberly Area CC (26-4) - vs. #4 MSU-West Plains/#5 Three Rivers winner. The championship game will be played Saturday March 3 at 3:00 p.m.
