An “Election Integrity Rally” is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2 at 12:30 p.m., at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City.

The event is sponsored by Concerned Citizens of Missouri, a Republican organization (PAC) that focuses on Second Amendment rights.

According to literature provided by the group, “Missouri needs a photo ID law to protect our election integrity,” referring to HB 738.

“Too many Rinos in the Missouri Legislature won't let election bills be heard on the floor to protect our elections,” It read. “Show your legislature that you want election integrity to include a photo ID.”

The poster being disseminated reads “we need to secure our elections!”
CCOM also is circulating a petition calling for a special session of the state legislature to prohibit mandatory vaccinations.

A similar rally was held a year ago to promote gun rights in Missouri. That rally featured Mark & Patricia McCloskey from St. Louis. Mark, 65, is a personal injury lawyer who attracted national attention in 2020 after he and his wife Patricia brandished firearms at political protesters marching past their home.
