As we look at the upcoming school year, I think this will be a year that will be remembered and referenced in years to come. We will always have those "marks" in our timeline that makes us think back to moments and memories that took place in our lives.

We published this story and video a few years back. One of our former Townsquare Media employees, Kurt Parsons, put this together. With all the craziness going on with the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt this would be a good distraction, so enjoy!

Remember a few years back, when Carly Rae Jepsen released her debut single "Call Me Maybe"? It kind of became a thing for people, groups and organizations to record lip-sync videos to the hit song. They were all over YouTube. Some were pretty good. Some were really bad. The staff at Sedalia Schools #200 participated in the trend. We happened to come across the video on YouTube, and noticed that it has been viewed over 24,000 times!

It looks like just about everyone has watched this video, but just in case you're one of the few that missed it, here it is!

It's probably impossible to know just how many "Call Me Maybe" videos were created, but there were a lot. Enough that several websites published lists of the best and worst "Call Me Maybe" videos.

The song ended up going to No. 1 in the United States., Canada, the UK and Australia, among several other countries. It was also nominated for two Grammy Awards.
