Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood are a dream team of Christian country singers, and they inspire on "Softly and Tenderly," a song from McEntire's upcoming gospel album.

"Softly and Tenderly" is a reminder that Jesus is always with us, watching and loving. McEntire and Yearwood each take a verse while Clarkson mostly adds harmonic flavor in a distinctively Kelly Clarkson manner. This simple song of faith urges all sinners to return to God's glory in a most convincing way.

The ballad is just a taste of what McEntire has planned on her new album, expected Feb. 3. There will be 10 traditional gospel songs and 10 originals on the two-disc release. Few will gain the recognition of this all-star hymn, but that doesn't mean they won't stand up on their own.

Did You Know?: The first official single from McEntire's Sing It Now: Songs of Faith and Hope album is called "Back to God" and will include a music video.

Reba McEntire's (Feat. Kelly Clarkson, Trisha Yearwood) "Softly and Tenderly" Lyrics:

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling / Calling for you and for me / See on the portals, he’s waiting and watching / Watching for you and for me.

Chorus:
Come home, come home / Ye who are weary come home / Earnestly, tenderly Jesus is calling /Calling all sinners come home.

Oh for the wonderful love he has promised / Promised for you and for me / Though we have sinned / He has mercy and pardon / Pardon for you and for me.
