Pettis County Deputies Make Two Arrests in Sedalia

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says two people were arrested yesterday in the 700 block of E. 4th St.

A suspect with a felony warrant, Justin R. Bales, reportedly tried to flee on foot, but was apprehended after a short chase that lasted about a block.

Deputies also made contact with Heaven M. McCue, who had active warrants from the Sedalia Police Department. McCue reportedly asked a neighbor to take her belongings, when it was discovered that she was in possession of a controlled substance, drug parphernalia, and marijuana.

Both Bales and McCue were taken to the Pettis County Jail.
