I'm not certain why there appears to be a sudden uptick of Missouri kids that have gone missing, but it's certainly a disturbing turn of events.

I frequently share updates on Missouri kids who's families do not know their whereabouts in the hopes that by getting their information out there quickly will increase the chance that they will return home safely. That's why I check the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children often to keep track of how Missouri kids are doing. I was in a bit of disbelief when I saw that there are a half-dozen Missouri children who have been reported missing in just the past 3 or 4 weeks. The names of each of these kids is linked to more detailed information about the last time they were seen and where they are from.

If seeing any of these faces makes you think that you might have seen them or have information about their whereabouts, you can call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's 24-Hour Call Center at 1-800-843-5678. If you're more comfortable contacting local Missouri law enforcement, that's helpful, too. If you think you have emergency info, 911 is an option. You never know when one small detail you know might save a life and a family.
