The University of Central Missouri Mules beat Indianapolis 37-27. The win gives the Mules an 11-1 record this season and the team moves on in the NCAA playoffs where they'll take on the number one seed Ferris State in Big Rapids, Michigan next Saturday.

The Greyhounds started strong by scoring on their first possesion for an early 7-0 lead, and then forcing the Mules to kick a field goal. The Greyhounds then took a seven point lead by kicking a field goal of their own, and after fifteen minutes lead 10-3.

The second time getting inside the Greyhounds ten yard line, the Mules again had to settle for a field goal. They then forced a three and out from the Greyhounds 33 yard line. Mules quarterback Brook Bolles threw a bulllet down the middle of the field and hit Zach Davidson for a 33 yard touchdown which gave the Mules a 13-10 lead. Later in the second quarter the Mules would pad their lead after Bolles hit Shane Wyatt with a 14 yard touchdown pass. At halftime the Mules were leading 20-10.

In the third quarter the Greyhounds got within a touchdown by driving 70 yards on 10 plays and getting a 17 yard score, but missed the extra point, making it a four point game, 20-16. The teams traded field goals making the score 23-19, and then Bolles hit Wyatt for a second time making the score 30-19 Mules.

Ubong Udom's third down sack gave the Mules the ball back with 5:29 left on the clock. Three plays later Koby Wilkerson rushed in from 11 yards out giving the Mules a 37-19 lead. UIndy got another touchdown with :56 seconds left, however, the Mules fielded the onside kick cleanly and two kneel downs later the Mules were moving on to the second round of the playoffs.

The Mules eleven victories match a team high for a single season. The Mules are now 3-3 in NCAA playoff games, and 2-0 at home. The Mules hisstoric, magical season continues next week.
