Morgan County Suspect Arrested in Sedalia

Sedalia Police were contacted Friday by authorities in Morgan County who said that a suspect with an active no-bond warrant was expected to arrive in Sedalia by Amtrak.

When the train arrived, officers made contact with 39-year-old Jerry Whisler Jr. of Versailles and confirmed the warrant for failure to appear in court for distribution/manufacturing/production and possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Whisler also had to Pettis County warrants for traffic offenses. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
