“Monkey” around Missouri’s Best Family Entertainment Spot
The best family entertainment spot in Missouri is NOT in Branson, St. Louis, or Kansas City, so where is this place where you can "monkey" around with the whole family?
Missouri's Best 2023 awarded The Malted Moneky the Best Family Entertainment award for 2023. The Malted Monkey is a family fun obstacle course/jungle gym in the Lake of the Ozarks, it is open 7 days a week and only $25 a person. What exactly is the Malted Monkey? The Malted Money is more than just this epic obstacle course, on their site they have a full menu of food and specialty drinks, of course, Malts! Some of the things on the menu include the Curd Burger a cheeseburger with cheese curds on it, the Buffalo Mac N Cheese Chicken Sandwich, the Loaded Pub Fries, and their Giant Pretzel. But it is the desserts and drinks that really sound appetizing, they have a deep-fried Oreo, and there is the Cake Shake, the S'Mores Shake, the Happy Hippo, and more!
And don't worry Mom and Dad...they have alcoholic shakes too, the alcoholic shakes that I would love to try include the Elvis, the Cookies and Cream, and the Salted Caramel, to see the entire menu and to learn more about the Malted Monkey click here!
Whoever created this place must have gone to a play place at McDonald's and thought "What if the play place was 10 times bigger and more extreme, and we made the menu insane, and add some alcohol?" I have never been to the Malted Monkey, but I have seen it when I went to the Lake a couple of years back, and now I am bummed I didn't check it out.
