MO Route AA/BB Over I-70 Bridge Replacement Completed in Grain Valley

Earlier this week, crews completed the bridge replacement work at MO Route AA/BB and Interstate 70 in Grain Valley.

The project was constructed over the course of three phases over the past year and had a scheduled completion date of winter 2023. This project included the replacement of the Route AA/BB bridge over I-70, improvements on I-70 under the bridge replacement and ADA improvements.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
