My dad told me that if you don't like the weather in Missouri, just wait 10 minutes. That has never been more true than this week where heat, tornadoes, snow and wildfires are all possible some on back-to-back days.

We start the week in Missouri with most places experiencing glorious 70 degree temperatures. That won't last long as the state will see those 70's dive into the 20's by late Tuesday night into Wednesday. As the National Weather Service in St. Louis says, that temperature plummet will lead to the possibility of severe storms (and yes even an isolated tornado).

Then, overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, Missouri will see at least some snow.

But wait, there's more. The National Weather Service has issued a stern warning about burning ANYTHING since there's a red flag warning for wildfires in Missouri, too.

The good news is that once this wild week gets done inflicting tornadoes, snow and wildfires on us, the weather will return to being mild by next weekend with sunshine across Missouri and high temperatures back in the 60's at least.

Back to what my dad said, Missouri weather will change every 10 minutes and this week is the poster child for that. It's like the state needs to find the medication it obviously lost.

If winter is like this, what will Spring in Missouri be like I wonder?
