The State Fair Box Office opens at noon today (June 24) and has tickets available for purchase to all the 2013 Fair concerts and events. The Box Office is open noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will expand its hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily during the Fair.  The Box Office, located on the fairgrounds in Sedalia, also has Governor’s Ham Breakfast tickets available for $25 each.

“By offering a Box Office on the fairgrounds, we help ensure all fairgoers can conveniently purchase their tickets in advance at a retail venue,” said Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe. “We are excited about this year’s line-up of concerts and events and know tickets will sell quickly.”

The State Fair Arena is a popular venue on the fairgrounds, offering 11 days of action from rodeos to motorsports.  The eight arena events, requiring a ticket, include:

  • Thursday and Friday, Aug. 8–9, MRCA Finals Rodeo, 7 p.m.: $8 adult/$5 ages 6–12/free ages 5 and under
  • Saturday, Aug. 10, MRCA State Finals Rodeo, 7 p.m.: $10 adult/$6 ages 6–12/free ages 5 and under
  • Monday, Aug. 12, Motocross Final Championship Round of the MO Fair Cross Series, featuring quads and motorcycles, 7 p.m.: $7 ticket/free ages 5 and under
  • Tuesday, Aug. 13, Flat Track TT Race, featuring quads, motorcycles, lawnmowers and Outlaw go-carts, 7 p.m. : $7 ticket/free ages 5 and under
  • Wednesday, Aug. 14, Antique, Classic and Farm Tractor Pull, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
    All day ticket, 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.,: $8 adult/$5 senior/free ages 5 and under; Evening ticket, 6 p.m. only, $7 adult/$4 senior/free ages 5 and under
  • Friday, Aug. 16, MSF Championship Bull Riding, 7 p.m.; $12 adult/$6 ages 6–12/free ages 5 and under
  • Saturday, Aug. 17, MSF Championship Bull Riding, 7 p.m.; $14 adult/$7 ages 6–12/free ages 5 and under
