In addition to winning huge one-time cash prizes, now you can win prizes that pay out for life with the Missouri Lottery’s new “Lucky for Life” Draw Game, which starts Jan. 27. With a top prize of $1,000 a day for life and a second prize of $25,000 a year for life, “Lucky for Life” is bound to be a hit.
“Our players love the concept of winning something that pays for life,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director for the Missouri Lottery. “This game offers 10 ways to win and great overall chances of 1 in 7.8, so we think players are going to like it.”
The new $2 Draw Game is a multi-state game that has been offered in six New England states for more than a year.
“The game is being revamped and seven other lotteries are joining on Jan. 27 with us, including lotteries in Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana and South Carolina. Other lotteries plan to join within the next few months,” Reardon said.
The game will offer drawings on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:38 p.m., starting on Thursday, Jan. 29.
To play, select five numbers from 1 to 48, and then choose one “Lucky Ball” number between 1 and 18. Or select Quick Pick and the terminal will pick your numbers for you.
“We’ve offered Scratchers pay-for-life prizes, but not Draw Game prizes,” Reardon said. “So we are excited for our players to win prizes that will continue to pay, year after year.”
