Missouri Challenges You to be a Good Golfer in a Cow Pasture
This isn’t new. It’s probably the way golf was originally played in the Show-Me State. Proper official golf courses started popping up in Missouri in the 19th century. Cow pasture golf is for charity these days.

Are you good getting up and down in less than ideal conditions with less than ideal equipment? Prove it and show everybody what you’ve got to help veterans and kids.
In New Hamburg, Missouri for the 40th year in a row a cow pasture and some game duffers will test themselves. The Kow Pasture Klassic tees off April 26th behind Schindler's Tavern with the festivities starting at 8a.
The Kow Pasture Klassic rules state that you don’t use a golf ball…(???) instead a tennis ball is used. Golf clubs? Not your standard drivers, woods and irons. But other items of your choice for clubbing the balls. Be creative. Tennis racket, Shovel, Baseball bat, Oboe...??? Crutch? If you can hit a tennis ball with it…then game on! and FORE!
The Specific charities are the Missouri Veterans Home Cape Girardeau and Kenny Rogers Children’s Center.
