Man Assaulted and Robbed in Rural Warrensburg, Two Arrested

Two men were arrested in connection with the robbery and assault of a 74-year-old in rural Warrensburg on March 1. According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, the man reported that he'd been assaulted, robbed, and left roadside. Authorities pinged the man's cell phone in order to determine his location. He was found to have extensive facial injuries and was lying in a ditch. The victim was transported to Research Medical Center. Two suspects, 25-year-old Devin T. Leavy and 26-year-old Robert A. Cash Rehmer, both of Warrensburg, were taken into custody on charges of first degree robbery and first degree assault.
