If you work, go to school, or live in Warrensburg and use Maguire Street over the railroad track between Grover and Railroad streets expect some delays next week. The City of Warrensburg Street Department is advising residents and visitors that there will be some construction work on the bridge deck starting Tuesday October 15 weather permitting.

The city says the work should take two or three days to complete and users of the road should expect lane restrictions until the bridge deck work is completed. The city is asking residents and visitors to use alternate routes if at all possible during the bridge construction.

If you're looking for an alternate, College Street has a bridge which can be helpful if you need to get across the tracks when rail traffic is passing through town. Additionally there are railroad crossings on Holden, Washington and Warren streets. None of the alternate routes should add travel time to your trip.
