Lincoln Man Convicted in 2018 Fatal Apartment Stabbing
KMIZ TV reports that a Pettis County Jury convicted Justin K Lewis of second degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon in the January 20-18 death of Heather McClellan on Tuesday.
Court documents indicate McClellan had 8 stab wounds and a slit throat.
The prosecution’s case focused on witness testimony and DNA evidence … while the defense said law enforcement conducted a lazy, sloppy, investigation.
Sentencing is set for June 18th.
