No Shoes Nation rejoice, Kenny Chesney is coming back to rock Kansas City next summer and he's bringing the Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney, and Uncle Kracker.

Eight-time Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney announced that he will return to Kansas City for the eighth time taking the stage at Arrowhead Stadium for a big concert on Saturday, July 6, 2024.

Chesney has a special relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs, as he helped the Chiefs bring live music back to Arrowhead Stadium in 2011. Additionally, he holds the record for most performances at Arrowhead, with this year's concert marking the eighth time he's played the stadium.

In a news release from Arrowhead Events Chiefs President Mark Donovan said, "Kenny is a friend and helped bring live music back to GEHA Field at Arrowhead in 2011.  Through the years, his shows have always been the biggest parties of the summer and a proven fan-favorite event here in Kansas City."

Chesney's website is promising his Sun Goes Down 2024 tour will bring all the high-velocity energy and songs people know by heart back to America's favorite stadiums. Additional midwest stops on the Sun Goes Down 2024 tour include stadium shows in Denver at Mile High Stadium and Soldier Field in Chicago.

“I wanted a name that suggested – obviously – when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going,” Chesney says of his 2024 tour name in a post on his website. “But we all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves."

Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 10:00 AM CST through Ticketmaster's website and app.

A presale for Jackson County residents will begin at 10:00 AM CST on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, and will take place online only. Jackson County purchasers must use a credit card with a billing code within Jackson County to participate. Presale tickets for Chiefs Season Ticket Members will go on sale on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM CST. Season ticket holders will receive an email with additional information.
