On Saturday at 7:57 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to the 3500 block of Green Ridge Road for a shooting.

Officers arrived on scene and determined that the suspect was impaired by alcohol and or drugs and also possessed a firearm. The suspect pointed the firearm at one person and shot at another person.

No one was injured, and 40-year-old Leah Fawn Ferolito, homeless, was taken into custody without further incident, and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

She now faces a litany of charges, including: 1st degree Assault, 2nd degree Assault, three counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, three counts of Armed Criminal Action, DWI Persistent Offender, Driving While Suspended or Revoked, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm (Blair’s Law), Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway, and 2nd degree Kidnapping.
