The Sedalia School District Foundation (SSDF) proudly awarded $89,600 in local scholarships to graduating Sedalia School District 200 students this year, continuing its longstanding commitment to educational opportunity and student success.

The SSDF scholarship program rivals many college-level scholarship programs and is supported by a total endowment exceeding $2 million, managed locally by Central Bank. Through the generosity and ongoing support of alumni, families, businesses, and community partners, the Foundation continues to provide meaningful financial assistance to students pursuing higher education and career training opportunities.

“Supporting our students through scholarships is one of the most important investments we can make in the future of our community,” said Deidre Esquivel, committee chair. “We take great pride in working alongside our alumni and donors to provide important resources that help Sedalia #200 students achieve their goals.”

The Sedalia School District Foundation has remained dedicated to enhancing educational experiences for students and staff throughout the district. Scholarship funding reflects the Foundation’s mission of fostering academic excellence, leadership, and opportunity for future generations.

The Foundation extends sincere appreciation to all donors, alumni, and supporters whose generosity makes these scholarships possible year after year.
