Sedalia Parks & Rec and the Sedalia Police Department is offering a Junior Drone Academy for kids ages 8-16 at the Heckart Community Center, 1800 W. 3rd Street.

The four sessions will introduce youth to the exciting world of drones through hands-on learning and real flight time.

Participants will explore how drones work, practice safe flying skills, and take to the controls with confidence.

The program also guides students through earning their TRUST certification, a nationally recognized requirement for recreational drone pilots.
