The Johnson County, Missouri Sheriff's Office announced on Facebook today that they executed a search warrant that has resulted in the seizure of approximately a half pound of methamphetamine.

The Johnson County Crime Resolution team executed a search warrant on November 20, 2024, in the 700 block of NE 101 Road in Warrensburg. Detectives seized approximately a half pound of methamphetamine, synthetic narcotics, and several firearms.

The Sheriff's Office says this operation reflects their determination to curtail drug circulation and contribute to the safety and well-being of all Johnson County residents.

The Sheriff's Office says Sheriff Munsterman's Crime Resolution Team initiative in Johnson County is a remarkable example of effective collaboration between law enforcement agencies. Detectives from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office worked alongside officers from the Warrensburg Police Department, the University of Central Missouri Police Department, the Holden Police Department, the Knob Noster Police, and the Leeton Police Department.

The Sheriff's Office says their seamless cooperation highlights the positive impact of collective efforts and expertise in keeping the community safe.
