Sedalia Parks & Recreation Welcomes Kevin Farner as Bowling Superintendent for Memory Lanes
Sedalia Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the addition of Kevin Farner as the Bowling Superintendent for Memory Lanes, the community's new bowling and entertainment destination set to open this November.
Farner brings more than two decades of bowling industry experience to Sedalia. Originally from western New York, he owned and operated a bowling center in Springville, New York, for 23 years before selling the business in 2018.
Since then, he has managed the bowling center at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas and most recently served as manager of Oberlin College Lanes in Ohio. Farner's passion for bowling extends well beyond his professional career. An accomplished competitive bowler, he has rolled 16 perfect 300 games and has competed in tournaments across the country throughout his bowling career.
"My family and I are excited to become part of the Sedalia community," said Farner. "I'm looking forward to helping build a bowling center that welcomes everyone, from first-time bowlers and families to league bowlers and competitive players. Memory Lanes is going to be a special place, and I can't wait to be a part of bringing it to life." Farner and his wife have been married for nearly 34 years and have three adult children and a four-year-old grandson.
As Bowling Superintendent, Farner will oversee daily bowling operations, league development, lane maintenance, tournaments, customer service, and the overall bowling experience at Memory Lanes.
Scheduled to open in November 9, 2026, Memory Lanes will feature 16 state-of-the-art Brunswick bowling lanes, an esports arena, arcade attractions, food and beverage options, event spaces, and entertainment opportunities designed for guests of all ages. The facility will provide a year-round destination for recreation, leagues, tournaments, birthday parties, and community events.
