Sedalia Main Streets to Celebrate FIFA World Cup Soccer with Watch Party
Sedalia Main Streets is celebrating FIFA World Cup Soccer with a special event on Friday, July 3 in downtown Sedalia.
A watch party will take place at the Furnell Pavilion showing two soccer matches on a jumbo digital screen at 200 S. Ohio.
Everyone needs to bring their own lawn chair. The event is free and open to the public, and hosted by Sedalia Main Streets.
The live stream begins at 5 p.m., (Argentina vs Cabo Verde) followed by another soccer match at 8 p.m. (Colombia vs Ghana)
In addition, there will be “Fun Zone” that begins at 6 p.m., and a “walking parade” that starts at 7 (line up at 6:45 behind Anytime Fitness (110 W 3rd Street).
It should be noted that costumed walkers will lead the group.
Family RV Association members carrying state flags will follow behind the costumed walkers.
The event is scheduled to end at 10 p.m.
