Corporal Howard Named Troop A Public Info Officer
Captain Steven V. Wilhoit, commanding officer of Troop A, Lee’s Summit, announces the following transfer effective January 1, 2025:
Corporal Justin D. Howard, previously assigned to Zone 6, serving the citizens of Jackson County, has transferred to Troop A Headquarters and will serve as one of the troop’s two public information officers.
Corporal Howard was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Raymore-Peculiar High School in Peculiar, Missouri, in 2014. Before joining the Patrol, Corporal Howard attended the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 2018. Corporal Howard is married and has one son.
