Update: Alexander from Sedalia found the coin about 3:45 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025. It was hidden in Katy Park near some blue benches on uneven ground near the playground equipment. Twine was sticking out, which then let him pull the coin out.

Here you will find the limericks for our St. Patrick's Day Pot of Goodies contest for 2025. Study the limericks, search for the hidden coin, find the coin, bring it to the Townsquare Media studios on South Limit Avenue in Sedalia to claim your pot of goodies. That day's limerick will be added to this article every day by noon!

Limericks are also read on Mix 92-3 and Kix 105-7 daily at 9:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 5:00 PM!

Monday March 3, 2025

Wow, it’s been a long time;
Since we’ve done a rhyme.
Be sure to read;
Warnings take heed.

Forever ago;
Established rules.
No need to dig;
Or use any tools.

Don’t tear things up;
Or make a big mess.
Stay away from private;
And show respect.

Make sure you listen;
Pay close attention.
Decipher the clues;
Follow the rules!

Breaking laws;
Won’t get applause.
Don’t be a fool;
Acting a tool.

Responsible for yourself;
Stay safe and play smart.
Ready or not;
It is time to start.

Tuesday March 4, 2025

Comply;
All rules apply.
Time to get going;
Don’t be shy.

Asphalt, concrete;
Dirt and gravel.
How many clues;
Will you unravel?

Inside, outside;
Or just in plain sight.
How long will it take;
To solve this plight?

Better hurry;
But no need to run.
1st, 2nd, 3rd;
Even last will be fun.

Wednesday, March 5, 2025

With your eye;
On the prize.
Are you;
All-wise?

Avenue, Circle, or Drive;
Road & Street or Terrace.
You pick;
Your guess.

Somewhere over;
Or under.
If you see a trend;
You might reach the end.

Continue searching;
Don’t want to be late.
Enters and exits;
All over the place.

Pulverized, mangled;
Dirty, nonetheless.
What is the measure;
Of your progress?

Thursday, March 6, 2025

Some related;
Some not.
Alphabetically listed;
Random or sought?

Keeping up;
With the word play presented?
Or falling behind;
Leaving empty handed?

Where to go;
10 times or more.
Don’t stop and sit;
That’s no way to score.

Driving around randomly;
with your fingers crossed?
Or nearing the end;
Feeling boss?

Friday, March 7, 2025

Oh heck;
Let’s get this rolling!
Stop wandering;
Leisurely strolling.

1, 2 & 3;
Connected.
Might be a clue;
Or misdirected.

Red, yellow;
Or blue & green.
Many colors;
In between.

Do you feel lucky?

Saturday, March 8, 2025

Ha, Ha!
GOOD LUCK!
Do the math.
Can you add it up?

(2+6)+20+29+(9+23)+7+3+(17+36)+4+5+1=[(-42)+24]
Aren’t numerals fun?

Oh, yeah;
Almost forgot.
Pets allowed;
Just clean up the spot.

Camouflaged;
Practically invisible.
Are the clues;
Making you miserable?

Sunday, March 9, 2025

East, north;
South & west.
Which way;
Seems best?

Link together;
From before.
Don’t wait around;
Someone else will score!

Adams, Garfield, Harding,
Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson,
Johnson, Madison, Monroe,
First, but last, Washington.

Do you have a guess?
No reason to wait.
Better hurry up.
Maybe too late!

Monday, March 10, 2025

Name, name;
What’s in a name?
Is it a mystery;
Or part of the game?

Follow the clues;
Not the norm.
Sixth joined;
Will you find the coin?

Don’t park;
All around.
Inside;
Memorials found.

Lots of colors;
To be seen.
Some of the words;
Need cleaned.

What do you think;
Graffiti or art?
It’s really not;
A bad place to start.

Tuesday, March 11, 2025

One, a miscue.
Two, a direct clue.
Three, keep looking.
Four, done hunting.
Five, oops too far!

Pretty and shiny;
All brand new.
What’s the lucky color;
In sight, unused?

Intersections;
Along the way.
What more;
Is there to say?

Failed the math;
Or found the path?
Only one way out;
Roundabout.

Resting quietly;
Somewhere between.
Several places;
You’ve just seen.

Do you know where;
Or don’t have a guess?
If already found;
We will still tell the rest.

Wednesday, March 12, 2025

After today, only two limericks remain, will you have the luck of the Irish and find the coin?

Asphalt, concrete;
Dirt and gravel.
Which path;
Did you travel?

Third on the list;
Easily missed from before.
Go look again;
You might just score.

Intersecting;
Along the ground.
Very soon;
Coin will be found.

Thursday, March 13, 2025

First clue;
Right from the start.
Following the rules;
Did you play smart?

Construction is progress;
And quite the mess.
Found nearby;
This isn’t a test.

Running out;
Of ways to say.
Pointing a direction;
To end this play.

Clockwise or counter;
Only three around.
Did you figure out;
Streets that surround?

Grand or defeat;
Avenue, road & street.
[(-42)+24];
Referenced before.

What are the missing;
Names in the game?
One boy, one girl;
Claim to fame.

President;
Crooked.
Can’t negate;
A definitive trait.

Will you Bloom;
Or “Smile”?
“Hot N Cold”;
“For the One That Got Away”.

Literally;
A needle in a haystack.
Immaculately disguised;
Will you find the prize?

Dawdling;
Will seal your fate.
Procrastinate;
You’ll be too late.

Friday, March 14, 2025

This is the final clue. If you find the coin, bring it to Townsquare Media Studios, 2209 South Limit Avenue, and claim our pot of goodies!

It is time;
To end this rhyme.
We hope you had fun;
It’s time to run.

Don’t stray;
Follow my lead.
Pay close attention;
To what you read.

From blue in the lot;
Go straight ahead.
Directionally found;
The path stops dead.

Camouflaged;
Along the way.
Not really a lot;
More to say.

In like a lion;
Out like a lamb.
Last time hidden;
By the track of the tram.

Don’t fall for the ruse;
The clock is ticking.
Time and clues;
Running out quickly.

Don’t meander;
On the way.
Speaking with candor;
Listen to what I say.

Put the pedal;
To the metal.
Not one or two;
Maybe blue.

Don’t take a seat;
Or go sit down.
Keep looking;
On the ground.

Dead end;
Turn around.
South & west;
Look down.

Not level;
Where you step with your feet.
Nearby;
Ragged, jagged, concrete.

Along the verge;
On the ground.
Look closely;
Or it won’t be found.

Chameleon concealed;
Not easily revealed.
Tug on the twine;
Between the lines.
