New Country Icon Headlining Missouri State Fair

Comfortable Country music is how I'd characterize the concert booked for the Missouri State Fair Grandstand on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

Tracy Lawrence will headline with Ruby Leigh opening the show.

With sales of over 13 million albums and 18 number-1 singles, Lawrence has become one of the most well-known Country artists of the past 30 years. Recently, Lawrence's interest in working with the next generation of artists and being able to explore other topics have led to "TL's Road House" podcast which has featured some great guests like HARDY, Jelly Roll, and Lainey Wilson.

Lawrence has a big spring and summer planned including joining Riley Green on tour, headlining a show at the Ryman Auditorium, and releasing a new EP called "Out Here In It" scheduled for release on June 7, 2024.

Opening for Lawrence is 16-year-old Missourian Ruby Leigh. Leigh's a self-taught singer from Foley, Missouri who started singing at karaoke competitions at nine and a half years old. Recently she made it through the Voice's arduous audition process and wound up undefeated until the final round. Leigh's audition is the highest viewed in the show's history.

Tickets for this show are $40 for seats on the rack and $35 for the grandstand. Tickets go on sale for Tracy Lawrence and Ruby Leigh on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. All concert seats are reserved and convenience charges apply to all tickets. The Missouri State Fair Box Office opens at noon on July 1, 2024, for walk-up orders while tickets remain.

Lawrence joins a Missouri State Fair lineup that includes classic rockers Foreigner, Country artist Warren Zeiders, Christian artist Tauren Wells, and Rapper Ludacris. Also added to the grandstand schedule is the 2024 Powri 410 Sprint Cars, B Modifieds & Super Stock Races on the last night of the fair with Hot Laps starting at 6:00 PM.
