Missouri’s 2 Largest Restaurants Aren’t Really Focused on Food?
This sounds like a question you would hear the Riddler ask Batman. When do you go to a restaurant, but you're not really interested in food? That answer can be found at 2 of Missouri's largest restaurants where the Riddler's question is really accurate.
This was one of those things that I just started wondering about. What is the largest restaurant in Missouri, I asked? The answer was not clear, but the closest I could get was a question answered by St. Louis Magazine. The answer they gave was "it depends on what you think of as large".
My curiosity was about pure size and when it comes to square footage, there were 2 Missouri standouts and they're both in St. Louis.
The #1 largest restaurant in Missouri (that I can find anyway) is the 65,000 square foot TopGolf. Do they serve food? Yes, they do.
Is food their focus? Are you kidding?
Close behind TopGolf at #2 as the largest restaurant in Missouri is Dave & Busters with 55,000 square feet in Maryland Heights. Once again, there is food there.
Is that their focus? Give me a break and grab some quarters.
It makes sense when you think about it. You need space for golf and video games and you want food handy, too. I'd be surprised if there aren't some bowling alleys in Missouri that might also land high on this list. If size matters, your restaurant will likely include a lot more than food.
