TGI Fridays Suddenly Closed 60 Places – Only 3 Remain in Missouri

There are reports that TGI Fridays has suddenly closed 60 restaurants in the last month alone and it appears there are only 3 remaining in Missouri.

I knew something was up when I saw Restaurant Dive share the revelation that TGI Friday suddenly had 60 less restaurants on their locator map and the change has happened just since the beginning of September. That made me curious about the fate of their Missouri locations and it appears only 3 TGI Fridays remain in the Show Me State.

I double-checked to see if my eyes were deceiving me as there are no TGI Fridays near Kansas City, Missouri anymore with only one restaurant in Columbia and two in the St. Louis area.

This report is corroborated by CNN as they report that TGI Fridays has suddenly closed dozens of restaurants as they say "reported bankruptcy nears".

Have we seen the last of TGI Fridays or will they figure out a way to pull it together? This latest development does not look good.
