Famous Instagram Star Finally Opens St. Louis Pizza Spot
Good things come to those who wait. If you have been looking for a new go-to pizza place in St. Louis to try out, that saying is true as a famous Instagram star's place is now open for business.
It was more than a year ago when Sauce Magazine shared that famous Instagram guy Nicky Slices was opening up a St. Louis pizza place
According to Nicky Slices Pizza Club Instagram page (of course), their doors are now open as of about a week ago and his famous pizza is now available to check out for yourself. Nicky says they tried to do a "soft opening", but the crowd that showed up was beyond all of his expectations.
Nicky Slices Pizza Club is located at 2240 Edwards Street in St. Louis which locals understand is the legendary part of town known as "The Hill". What you won't find at Nicky's is St. Louis-style pizza, but the deep dish Detroit-style. I say that as a compliment since it's something different than the typical St. Louis pizza place.
I don't get to St. Louis nearly as much as I used to and have not been able to sample what Nicky's has to offer, but I'm thrilled there's something new to try next time I'm in town. Here's hoping Nicky's Instagram fame translates into a long-standing St. Louis pizza success.
