VIDEO: Missouri Barn Find Uncovers Vintage Muscle Car Treasure
It's been said that one man's trash is another man's treasure. That is definitely true of classic cars that can be hidden away inside of a dusty barn, but might be a rare and valuable find for a collector. That happened recently as several vintage muscle cars were discovered in a Missouri barn find.
This is one of the reasons I recommend following Auto Archaeology on YouTube if you don't already
This is one of several classic Pontiac muscle cars (Pontiac GTO convertible) that he found hiding on his friend's Missouri property. His garage where he does the renovations and rebuilds is apparently in Chicago, but this buddy invited him down to Missouri to see what he had hiding in the back.
He also found what appears to be a mid-1960's Chevrolet Bel Air that's in rough shape, but could be brought back to its former glory with some TLC. If this car could talk, I'm sure it would have amazing stories to tell.
The Auto Archeology guy said that he was in Missouri to investigate a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T that had just been taken away for a restoration when he came across his classic Pontiacs hiding in the back. I have a soft place in my heart for Pontiacs. The best car I've ever owned was a 1982 Firebird. It was a 6-cylinder that I flipped the air filter in it upside down to give it a throatier sound like its big brother 8-cylinder Trans Am muscle car. No one challenged me at traffic lights during that era for some reason. Good times, good times.
