It's not news that the Kansas City, Missouri area got a lot of snow and some places saw blizzard conditions. There's a new share of a video from a birdfeeder that shows how the snow accumulated surrounded by birds.

I saw this crazy cool video shared on the Missouri sub-Reddit which originated on the Kansas City sub-Reddit. The video begins Saturday, January 4 during the afternoon and continues through early Sunday evening, January 5.

Spoiler Alert - You're going to see lots of hungry cardinals, too.

How much snow did Kansas City, Missouri get?

According to Fox 4 in Kansas City, some parts of the area received more than 10 inches of snow. Blue Springs ended up with a whopping 12 inches of snow. What's crazy is how snow totals were wildly different as Pleasant Hill only ended up with 4 1/2 inches thanks to more ice and sleet.

It's more proof that you never underestimate the potential of Missouri weather to surprise you and it's awesome that this birdfeeder owner was willing to share the video as it happened.
