When it comes to finding a town that offers both wealth and safety, these four Illinois communities stand out.

Illinois’ Safest & Wealthiest Towns

GoBankingRates recently gathered data to determine the safest and wealthiest towns in the nation. The study examined factors such as average household income, total population, number of households, cost-of-living indices, and crime rates.

The results showed that California and Massachusetts led the way, each with 7 towns on the list. New Jersey followed with six. To qualify, none of the ranked cities had an average income below $251,210.

So, which Illinois towns cut?

Western Springs, Kenilworth, Winnetka, and Wilmette were all recognized among the top 30 in the country.
