Guy Fieri Approved! Missouri Diner Crowned Best in State

Flavortown is back with a new ranking of the best 50 restaurants featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.

This time goes to a restaurant in Kansas City serving up some of the best in Italian Food, and it's not on my bucket list to visit.

Cupini's in Kansas City

It all started when chef Franco Cupini made his way to the Show-Me State after being the top chef for the president of Italy. Since opening, Cupini's has been serving homemade pasta, its famous 7-layer meat lasagna, and chocolate chip cannoli.

You know this place is worth trying when Guy Fireri puts his name and show behind it. Mashed put together the list, saying, "Abundant salads and creative seafood dishes feature on the Cupini's menu, as does an impressive selection of nine can't-miss dessert cakes."

I have never met an Italian restaurant that I didn't fall in love with, looks like I have another bucket list restaurant to try the next time I head to Kansas City. And I am sure that my sisters will want to come so we can all enjoy another great Italian meal together.
