Luke Combs celebrated the Twisters movie release the best way he knows how on Friday night (July 19.)

During a stadium tour stop in New Jersey, the singer paused the show to shotgun a beer onstage: A fairly common occurrence for Combs, but this time, there was a twist -- three of them, to be exact.

Combs was joined onstage by Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos, three of the stars of Twisters. The trio of actors walked out onstage holding beer cans, much to the surprise of the roaring crowd, and greeted the country star with hugs before shotgunning their beers and tossing them into the crowd.

In video footage posted to Combs' social media, you can see that Edgar-Jones is looking a little nervous about the stunt. She gives it the old college try, but ultimately hands off her half-full can to Powell, who gamely finishes it for her.

"Hey Twisters cast, what you say we shotgun one?!" Combs wrote in the caption of his post.

Combs is one of several country music A-Listers to contribute music to the Twisters film. His song, "Ain't No Love in Oklahoma," joins tracks from Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Megan Moroney, Thomas Rhett and more.

Twisters follows the 1996 hit film Twister. According to IMDB, the original film follows a group of storm chasers as they work to "create an advanced weather system" that puts them "in the cross-hairs of extremely violent tornados."

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the new film had an extremely successful opening weekend at the box office, with a domestic opening of $74.6 million. If projections hold, it could become the top domestic opening for any natural disaster film, not adjusting for inflation.
